1. The function of the check valve is to prevent the backflow of the medium, the reverse rotation of the pump and drive motor, and the discharge of the container medium.

2. Check valve refers to the valve that automatically opens and closes the valve disc depending on the flow of the medium itself, and is used to prevent the backflow of the medium. It is also called check valve, one-way valve, reverse flow valve, and back pressure valve. The check valve belongs to an automatic valve.

3. According to the structure, check valves can be divided into lift check valves, swing check valves and butterfly check valves: lift check valves are divided into vertical and horizontal types. Swing check valves are divided into single disc type, double disc type and multi disc type. Butterfly check valves are straight through type. The above check valves can be divided into threaded connection, flange connection, welding connection and wafer connection.

The installation of check valve should pay attention to the following matters

A. Do not make the check valve bear weight in the pipeline, and the large check valve should be supported vertically, so that it is not affected by the pressure generated by the pipeline system.

B. During installation, pay attention that the direction of medium flow should be consistent with the direction of the arrow marked on the valve body.

C. Lift type vertical disc check valve shall be installed on vertical pipeline.

D. The lift type horizontal disc check valve shall be installed on the horizontal pipeline.
